Scientific name for strawberry is Fragaria * ananassa Duch. A perennial herb with height of only 10-40 cm. Florescence from April to May and fruit can be harvested from June to July.
Native to South America but widely cultivated in China and Europe and other places. Strawberry has very high nutritional value, contains lots of nutrients.
Strawberry needs lots of sunshine, but it also has strong shade resistance. When there is enough sunshine, the plant is short but strong, small fruit but with deep red color, and much sweeter.
